Request the Band

Thank you for your interest in the 39th Army Band. Our various ensembles will provide the appropriate style of music for a variety of military and civilian public events. If you are not sure which Musical Performance Team (MPT) best meets your needs, please refer to the descriptions below.

We will do our best to support your request, but please be aware that due to our operational schedule and internal training requirements, we cannot support every request we receive. Please submit your request at least 60 days prior to your event. We may not be able to support requests with less than 90 days advance notice.

Below are general guidelines to keep in mind when requesting the 39th Army Band:

• ‍We reserve the right to cancel our participation when we identify conflicting priorities, safety concerns, inclement weather forecasts, or get assigned other missions by higher headquarters. 

• Events must be free and open to the general public.

• Events may not be designed to increase business traffic, raise money, or support any religious or ideological movement, political campaign, or commercial enterprise.

• Any charges for performance location, lighting engineer, spotlight operators, band shell, etc. must be coordinated through the sponsor and are the sole financial responsibility of the sponsor.
